For your second assignment, you will analyze a real-life white-collar crime.

1. Review the white-collar crimes listed on pages 150-155. I’ve attached a PDF if you do not yet have your book.
2. Then, research a news story involving one of those crimes. Write a brief summary of the facts.
3. Locate the federal statute that was violated (or alleged). Include the text of the statute.
4. Analyze whether the facts satisfy the elements of the crime.
5. State whether the defendant was convicted and, if no information is available, state whether you think the defendant is guilty.

Your completed assignment should be at least 4-5 paragraphs long. Please cite any sources you used, and be sure to write in complete sentences with proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling. (Do not use ChatPT)
