This week’s report focuses on the Statement of Shareholders’ Equity.Review the Notes to the Financial Statements for any items pertaining to Shareholders’ Equity.Write a report of at least one-page. Consider using bullet points. A more expansive submission would qualify you for a higher grade.This report will assist you in the final SEC 10-K project deliverables.Submit it as a Word document.RequirementsThe report should include the following:Choose (2) accounts or line items of the Shareholders’ Equity, including but not limited to:Beginning BalanceCommon StockDividendsRetained Earnings or Accumulated DeficitAccumulated Other Comprehensive Income or LossNet Income or LossEach account name must be shown under a separate heading reflecting the account name. Heading should be in bold. An excellent submission is one which show the dollar values for each account for two years, calculates the difference between the two years in dollars and then expresses that difference in terms of a percentage increase or decrease. Then comment on the account balances and changes. The numerical information must be presented as a table with shown as an example:Account Name Balance: Balance $ difference % difference Brief Explanation on above analysisThen repeat process for other accounts.Next, review the Notes to Financial Statements section and in 2 or 3 lines write about any one item pertaining to any Stockholders’ Equity account that you can glean additional information on these accounts. You must reference the Note number (eg: Note 1 or Note 2, etc.) from which you selected the Stockholders’ Equity account to write about.
