The above statistics were obtained after running the ANOVA.
Regarding the background color, the Triple T website’s white background has the
longest time spent per visit. The above conclusion has been made since the average for white
backgrounds is 271.5, while the averages for pink and green backgrounds are 231.5 and
257.7, respectively. Regarding the font type, Triple T visitors spent more time using the
Aerial font. Aerial’s average is 272.2, while Tahoma’s and Calibri’s are 235.7 and 242.8,
respectively. Based on the above observations, it can be concluded that Ariel’s font and white
background could make Triple T’s visitors stay longer at the website compared to the other
fonts and backgrounds. Based on the sample data, visitors spent more time (310.4 seconds)
when the website had a combination of Ariel front and white background. However, the
visitors spent the least time on average (206.4 seconds) when the website had a combination
of Tahoma font and pink background. Little time was spent on Triple T’s website among
Tahoma, Ariel, and Calibri’s fonts when the background was green.
The company conducted a controlled experiment. I conclude that the above is because
the organization directed visitors randomly to various websites with different fonts and
background color combinations. The company then measured the time visitors spent on the
websites.
Based on the above ANOVA results, visitors’ time on the company’s website is
unequal for the three background colors. Based on the test statistic, F=5.75 with a p-value of
0.05>0.0046 significance level. Based on the results, it can also be concluded that the time
spent by visitors to the company’s website is not equal for Aerial, Calibri, and Tahoma’s fonts
as test statistic F= 5.32 with p value < 0. 05 significance level. However, there is inadequate
evidence to show that the time spent by the company's visitors to the website is unequal for
the nine combinations of font and background color, i.e., F= 1. 44, P value= 0. 2269> 0.05
4
significance level.
Despite the combination of color and background not appearing to impact visitors’
time, the Aerial font and white background have the longest time spent with significant test
results. Therefore, I recommend that the company’s website should have
