The concept of corporate social responsibility entails a wide definition regarding an organization’s relationship with its external environment. In chapter 6 of the text (DuBrin 2023), Figure 6-1 in text shows numerous initiatives that may assist an organization in becoming socially responsible.

Locate a magazine or newspaper article from the past year that highlights a business organization that has successfully implemented something directed at becoming more socially responsible.

• Summarize what you learned from the article. Include how you believe the leaders of the organization created an environment where social responsibility is part of the culture.
• How might you use their strategies to help your organization become more socially responsible?
