Introduction of Project
The project idea our group had was to create a calculator that serves the purpose of not
just addition and subtraction, but multiplication as well as division and many more. The goal is
to have a macro set up to serve as a 3D calculator like those that you can download for your PC
which will give the users a more hands on experience. The vision is to have the calculator’s
information or rather inputs, recorded into an excel spread sheet (if we can figure out how to).

Requirements
The requirements we will need for our calculator are a number of things that we
ourselves will have to discover through the creation of our project. The first thing that we will
need for sure is the use of macros from Excel to create the calculator model that the users will

MACRO.) The next thing we plan to due is have either visual basic or some way through excel
itself to record our inputs into the calculator if at all possible. The next thing we will have is a
PowerPoint that will have the instructions on our calculator as well as its uses so as to provide a
guide on how things work with our project.
Analysis
Our project has many phases as well as elements that must all be taken into account, so
through this part of our paper, we will strive to explain our elements of our project as well as its

Design Phase
The way our calculator will be set up is with the use of macros as covered above. We will
create buttons that will be interactive so that the user can click on numbers 0 through 9 as well as
a number of math symbols such as plus and minus. We will have a box above the buttons that
will collect the input from the buttons pressed and then have an enter or equal button to carry out
