Use GIS tools to produce the catchment of Falaj Daris and to discuss the official protection zone.

Start by adding the DEM file and apply different symbology techniques to show different colors and the hillshades (as explained during the course). At the end, you will submit a document contain around 250 word (or more)
discussing the Falaj surface protection zone. The document should contain also
three maps as follow:
• Map showing the topography of the study area by using different colors and hills
shading. Geographical features should be highlighted (mountains names, wadis
names, villages, etc.) This should be a formal map (10 points)
• Map showing Falaj Daris parts (including shareeha and Um al Falaj) and the
official protection zone. All should be as vector data ONLY (10 points)
• Map showing the catchment area calculated by GIS tools. This map should
include catchment boundaries, channels, falaj subsurface channels and the official
protection zone. (10 points)
The text should explain as well your thoughts about the best definition of the falaj
protection zone. The text weight 10 points.
