During COVID, many people became frustrated when contracts could not be fulfilled. In actuality, there have been many times when contracts could not be fulfilled due to impossibility. Read the Parker v. Arthur Murray, Inc., 295 N.E.2d 487 (Ill. Ct. App. 1973) case using the textbook link in Week’s 5 Reading/Video View Assignments, pages 522-524. In this case, even though the contract had statements that this was non-refundable, the Court held differently. Research another case dealing with the doctrine of impossibility to perform and answer the following questions:

1. Identify, compare, and contrast the facts of both cases.
2. If you were a business owner, do you think non-refundable clauses in contracts are ethical, why or why? Would your position change if you were a consumer who had signed a contract with such a clause?
