Discussion #2: Watch and Share

All students need to complete this assignment, which is designed to help you all start to get familiar with legal terminology and to help you better be able to visualize courtrooms and the court processes we’ll be learning about. As I’m sure you’re all aware, most of these shows are not necessarily accurate depictions of our court/legal system, but depending on which you choose to watch, it’ll at least help you start hearing the terminology we’ll be using throughout the semester!

Select at least one of the T.V. shows or movies from the Recommended Viewing List you were given last week, containing law-related shows and movies. Pick at least one movie or show and watch it (if you selected a show, you will need to watch at least 3 episodes).  My personal favorite from the list is the movie My Cousin Vinny. For those who have time to binge-watch an entertaining docu-series, I also really recommend The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story).
