Objective

Look at Mass extinction Events – YOU MUST do the event (A or B) that you are assigned, or you will receive a grade of Zero.. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Instructions

Here you will look at a mass extinction event. The event will depend on which topic you are assigned

Topic A Ordovician – Silurian extinction events

Topic B Permian -Triassic Event

For you event you need to answer the following

1. When did it take place? Please note, this may be over a period spanning up to millions of years depending on the event
2. What percentage of life was wiped out and how does this compare to other events(i.e. was it the worst, or other had greater losses.)
3. What was the cause, or give and least one theory on the cause of what caused the extinction.

Remember to cite your source. (APA or MLA) Cut and paste is an unacceptable practice as it means you didn’t do the work and are claiming someone else’s work as your own.

Again the length should be 250-350 words NOT including citations.
