Physical Geography Lab Self Guided Field Trip

This is an opportunity to get outside!

A field trip is a requirement for completing a LAB in the Los Angeles Community College District.

As a result, this assignment will include multiple requirements for you to validate this field trip.

Requirements for validation of this assignment include:

Photo with you in it.

Parking Pass (if applicable).

Screenshot of your pinned location (using your phone).

Create a video while you are there!

Option 1:Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy

You can also join a guided tour of Forrestal Reserve on May 14th at 9am.

Option 2:Madrona Marsh, Torrance

Madrona Marsh is nearby and nice spot to get outdoors!

Madrona Marsh has great activities too:

May 12th at 10:30am Nature Storytime (if you have kiddos or help out with kiddos)

May 14th at 10am there is a guided Nature Walk.

  • Once you choose your location, plan on walking the location. You should plan to spend at minimum 2 hours. Each lab, lab prep. and lab report should take you 4 hours weekly.
  • I will be able to tell, based on your work, the amount of effort and time put into this LAB.

    You will provide documentation of your trip.

    You will also create a report.
