operating systems.
In this project you will be fixing a presentation about team building. First, you will fix
mistakes in text using Outline view. You will then add an icon and modify the icon. You will
move text around using cut and paste and fix missing text using copy and paste. You will
convert a numbered list into a bulleted list. You will change the way information is
presented. You will display information in a table, next you will create a chart to visually
display data, and then you will create a SmartArt graphic to convey information. Finally,
you will add a shape to fill out the look of the presentation and resize and align the shape
on the slide.

Steps to complete this project:
Mark the steps as checked when you complete them.
1. Open the PP2021-FixIt-2-6 presentation. The file will be renamed automatically
to include your name. Change the project file name if directed to do so by your
instructor, and save it.
2. If the presentation opens in Protected View, click the Enable Editing button in
the Message Bar at the top of the presentation so you can modify it.
3. Use Outline view to change the subtitle on Slide 1 from A PRIMER to THE
SMART APPROACH
4. On Slide 1, add the icon of the three people with the light bulb above them.
It is in the Business section of the Icons dialog.
NOTE: The Icons dialog in your version of Microsoft
PowerPoint may appear different due to Office 365 updates. Locate and select
this icon in the Business category.
If you do not see this icon, insert a
similar icon from the Business category.
5. Resize the icon to be 2.5″ wide and 2.5″ tall.
6. Apply the Light 1 Fill, Colored Outline – Dark 1 graphics style to the icon. It is
the first option in the first row of the gallery.
7. Display the ruler and click and drag the icon from the middle of the bottom
edge so it is positioned at approximately the 1″ mark below 0 on the vertical
ruler and the 4″ mark on the horizontal ruler. The icon should appear just above
the last four letters in the title (Team Orientation).
8. On Slide 3, cut the first point (Member introduction) and paste it as the last
bullet point on Slide 2.
9. Copy the slide title from Slide 5 and paste the text in the title placeholder
on Slide 7.
10. Convert the numbered list on Slide 3 to a bulleted list using
the Checkmark Bullets style.
11. On Slide 5, move the text from the tabbed list into a new table. Hint: You can
cut the text and then paste it into the table you add. You can then cut and paste
each piece of text into the proper cell in the table. If you use this method, be
sure to remove any extra line breaks and spaces.
12. On Slide 6, create a 3-D Pie chart from the data on the slide. Have the title of
the chart read Time
13. On Slide 7, delete the bulleted list on the slide and add a Nondirectional
Cycle SmartArt diagram. Include the following points (starting at the top and
moving clockwise in the diagram):

Specific
Measurable
Attainable
Relevant
Time Bound
14. On Slide 8, add a Lightning Bolt shape to the right side of the slide title.
15. Resize the shape to be 2″ tall and 1.25″ wide.
16. Using smart guides, move the shape so the top of the shape is aligned with the
top of the bulleted list.
17. Change the shape to be center-aligned on the slide.
18. Save and close the presentation.
19. Upload and save your project file.
20. Submit project for grading.
