There needs to be total participation on both sides for Employees working for Departments. The instructions state “Each employee works for one or more departments. Each department has one or more employees. This is saying that it is not possible to have employees that work for no departments, or departments with no employees working for them (-1 point)

Employee works for department should be M:N, because the directions are written like “Each employee works for one or more departments. Each department has one or more employees.” The ‘one or more’ for both is why it is M:N. There is no cardinality designation on the employee side, and there is a “1” for the departments side (-1 point)

Measurement has no primary key (-1 point) – It would also be fine to modeli t as a weak entity set and have a partial key

The room type should be modeled as inheritance (room is the superclass and conference room/office/lab are subclasses), as opposed to what seems to be a composite attribute (-1.5 points)

Conference room has no max capacity attribute (-0.5 points)
