5.) Screenshots of the queries and respective responses.- 20 Points
Note for any submissions in ANY OF CLOUD STORAGE,ADDITIONAL POINTS WILL BE AWARDED – 10 Points
Keep in mind, this submission will count for everyone in your Final Project group.
Term Project Instructions
Term Project includes Proposal (5%) and Final report (15%).
The purpose of the term project is to allow you to demonstrate your understanding of data modeling and database design knowledge and skills covered in this class as well as the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
The term project for INFO 4707 requires that you design and implement a database system using a DBMS, such as Microsoft SQL or MySQL. You are encouraged to choose a topic that is pertinent to your work, your organization, and/or you’re interested subject domains. The purpose of the term project is to allow you to demonstrate your understanding of data modeling and database design knowledge and skills covered in this class as well as the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The database system that you are going to design and implement should be able to handle real-world data and information management issues at retail, e-commerce, HR, manufacturing, medical, bookstores, or any area you chose. It can be part of a large-scale system. In other words, you need to control the size and scope of your system. Your system should contain at least 6 tables/entities including composite entities. The system should not be one of our previous assignments. Make assumptions as needed and document them. You can also consider me as your client, and you can ask for any details on the project discussion board. Each Database project should have at least 10 inserted records in each main entity to provide the required reports.
You can decide to work individually or work with other fellow students (max 2 students in one group) for the term project. Students in a team should be responsible for coordinating the work themselves. A team coordinator should be nominated, and the team coordinator will be responsible for submitting the reports, other team members should not submit another copy of the reports.
