· This assignment is calculated out of 5 (5% of assignment 2 mark in SIS). The assignment is a report need to be submitted by each single student.

· Cheating is not allowed in any circumstances. Any cheating or coping cases will be considered as plagiarism.

· 10% of student mark will be deducted for any day of late up to 3 days, after that your work will not be accepted.

A researching report should be prepared and submitted in one of the following proposed topics.

· Relational databases and non-relational databases.

· Database management systems types and architectures.

· Optimal database design.

· Database management systems languages and interfaces.

· Database systems security.

· The student is required to collect 3 scientific published papers from any digital library, or more but no less, in one of the proposed topics.

· The student need to read the papers carefully and prepare her won report to summarize, discuss, and may suggest some new ideas on what she read.

· Do not copy or rephrase written statements in the papers. Do not reuse your friends’ papers.

· Prepare a report of minimum 2 papers (excluding the cover page) and use the following format.

· Font type: Times New Roman.

· Font size: 12 pt.

· Line space: 1.5 pt.
