Using your thesis statement and research Please see attached,I researched three different one. Didn’t have a thesis for them tho. present the problem that needs to be addressed with your proposed solution. Note: Your solution, advantages, and challenges, will be in Parts 2 and 3. You are only detailing the problem and making sure the reader thoroughly understands the need to read the next two (2) parts of your paper.
Write a three to four (3-4) page draft in which you:
Support claims with at least three (3) quality, relevant references. Use credible, academic sources available through Strayer University’s Resource Center. You may use additional resources as needed. Note: Wikipedia and similar websites do not qualify as academic resources.
Your assignment must follow these formatting guidelines:

The first topic I chose is “Should regulations be changed regarding genetically altering plants and/or animals?” I picked this topic because genetically modified organisms (GMO) tend to have a bad reputation. People feel that GMOs are the cause for a lot of the medical issues in the human race. I don’t think GMO’s are bad foods to consume as long as the proper research is done to see what the potential side effects may be even if it is minor. I feel that GMO’s may be useful because our population is surpassing the demand we have for food. So, we, as people have to find ways to make the demand of food match our population. One the arguments about GMOs is whether is it ethical or unethical especially when it comes to religion. My possible thesis statement for this topic would be “Genetically modified organisms were created to prevent a potential food shortage in our country. Even though GMOs are very controversial, it has assisted in the improvement of the creation of crops and other foods significantly over the past decade”.
The second topic I chose is “Should vehicles (cars, trucks, vans, SUVs) be required to have backup cameras?” I picked this topic because I have driven cars with and without back cameras. In my opinion, high tech vehicles especially those with back up cameras make people better drivers. Technology is vehicles tend to make better drivers. Instead of drivers depending on just their driving skills, the technology is able to help drivers see things that may be in their blind spot. In this topic, I will be able to research if my opinion is correct. Also, I will see if there has been any research studies done on this theory. My possible thesis statement for this topic would be “Technology has proven to help advance the human race, but all advancements are necessarily good improvements. Even the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is making the cameras mandatory.”
The third topic I chose is “Should financial incentives be offered to high school students to perform well on standardized tests?” I picked this topic because I work with children at my youth program. I talked to them all the time about the importance of education. My students talk about school and standardize test all the time. They don’t understand why standardized tests are required in school and determine if they can graduate from high school. Teenagers work well with incentives, so, other than graduating high school, if they was given a financial motive; they will take the tests more seriously. My possible thesis statement for this topic would be “Teenagers often say they dislike standardize tests. They would ask ‘why do we have to do this?’ and ‘how will this help us in the real world?’ All kids work with incentives and we all know kids love monetary rewards. If society would use financial incentives for standardize tests, then maybe our students would perform better on these exams.”
The 2 resources I would use for genetically modified plants and/or animals are “Ethical Concerns and GM Foods by Ian Murnaghan” and “New Report Say Genetically Engineered Crops are Are Safe” by Jason Daley. Ian Murnaghan’s article speaks of some of the concerns society have about GMO such as cross- pollination, doctors’ support for GMOs, and GMO research. This article will help prove reasons why, in my opinion, GMOs aren’t bad. Jason Daley’s article describes how long GMOs have been around and how it started. It shows the improvement GMOs made and the growth of GMOs over the years. The two resources I would use for vehicle back up cameras are “What You Need to Know about Backup Cameras by Julie Halpert” and “NHTSA to require backup cameras on all vehicles by Chris Woodyard”. Halpert’s article speaks about different studies involving vehicle back up cameras. Woodyard’s article speaks about all vehicles 2018 and newer will be required to have back up cameras which will be beneficial to my argument. The two articles I would use for financial incentives for standardize tests “If Rewards Improve Test Scores, What’s Really Being Tested? By Tim Walker” and “Should We Pay Students for Higher Grades? By Cody Fenwick”. Walker’s and Fenwick’s articles speaks about different studies that were done to give students financial incentives for better performance on standardize test, which will help prove my point in my paper.
