Choose one of the religions that we discussed in this course.

Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Daoism, and Shinto

Write a 700- to 1,000- Microsoft Word paper that addresses the following questions: You either meet this word requirement or do not meet this requirement. The title page and reference page do not count towards the word count.

• What are common characteristics your chosen religion shares with the others?
• How is this religion responding to challenges (e.g., the rise of critical and scientific methodologies) in the modern world?
• What has changed about the roles of women in the religion over time?
• Discuss eastern religion and contemporary ethics.

Cite at least one reference in addition to Experiencing the World’s Religions.
