Leadership

The ability to effect on people, also the ability to achieve to what he/ she wants. In my interview i choice a person who did many benefit things for people and who is the leader in many places. The person i choice is yazeed Alhayyaf he is 28 years old he is a student at SUU he is international student from Saudi Arabia, he graduate in his bachelor degree in physics. The theory he believe on his leadership is initiative, excellence, and services. What he achieve today are that he is a graduate senator at SUUSA, he is a leader to Muslim community in Cedar City, he giving speech every Friday for Muslims people, and planning a program for Muslim, He is a member of graduate Council and University graduate curriculum. He is a member of Saudi club at SUU and member of the Election Grievance Committee.

The services he did are:

Delivering presentation about the “future of science” to middle and high school students.

Volunteer tutor to Saudi students in Accounting, finance, economic, statistic, and GRE prep.

Coordinator with homecoming prid 2012.

Volunteer assistant for professor Kloud Al-Qubbaj in her arabic class.

The achievements he has are:

Preparing to take the CPA exam in may 2013.

Memorize the Holy Quran (More than 600 pages).

Containing his goal to graduate with Joint degree MAcc/MBA with GPA 3.85.

Member of ACFE (association of certified fraud Examiners) and CFA(chartered financial analyst institute).

However, he did many academic research, analysis, and Evaluation. Such as’Moral coureg in business” and “customer profitability analysis”.

The talent and attributes he possess that enable him to lead the students succefully is that he belive students have more power than professors and staff. Believe of himself many things such as confidence give him the ability to communicate with other students effectively, believe that patience generate power and helps him to not give up.

For his leadership future he will achieve to get CEO of big 4’s company.
