When your lab report is complete, post it in Submitted Assignment files.

This is your worksheet for the Unit 4 IP.
You will find that there are two tables – one for animal cells and one for plants cells.

When you open up the lab, you will click on the microscope, drag the slide to the scope, and turn the microscope on.
Your screen will look like this:

When you click the Forward arrow, you will come to the first exercise (or puzzle).
Click on the label or image, and drag it to the correct location on the cell.
Note the number of the cell component when you click on it, because these numbers will be used to identify the cell feature on the table.
You cannot advance to the next screen until this is complete. Note that you cannot fill it in incorrectly. Keep trying until you get it right.

Click on the labels, and move them to the correct white box.

Match the cell component images to their gray, empty counterpart on the cell.

Advance to the next screen, which looks like the one below. You will find a list of cell structures on the left. Each one is numbered. These numbers correspond to the numbers on the table in the worksheet.
Match the structure to its description.
To do this, click on the green dot. Connect the line that appears to the gray dot of the correct description.
Again, you cannot do this wrong. Use your book to learn about cell structures before you begin so that this activity is easier.
You cannot move forward until this is complete.
Note: If you go back, you will need to start over again. Fill in your worksheet as you go.

You cannot move forward until this is complete.
Note: If you go back, you will need to start over again. Fill in your worksheet as you go.

When you have finished with this list of 10 cell structures, you will begin to analyze the next series of animal cell components. The exercise looks like the image below.
Match the images and labels to the correct space.

Advance to the next screen to match the cell structure to the correct description.
Just as before, click on the green dot, and connect it to the matching description.
Note that the cell structures are numbered. Use this list to fill in your worksheet with structures 11–20.

Now you are ready to begin the analysis of cell structures of a plant cell.
Follow the same procedure, matching structures and labels.

Use this list of numbered cell components to fill in the worksheet.
