Lab 3 Assignment – Food Web Lab

Instructions:

For this lab, I want you to research and create a food web that exists in real life. It’s probably

easiest to pick a specific habitat (such as the African Savanna or maybe the Galapagos

Islands…be creative!!) and then research what animals, plants and fungi populate the place and

who eats whom!

You will turn in one file which illustrates your food web. You can use something like Word,

Publisher or PowerPoint to make your visual aide (you can actually use PowerPoint to make

really big posters)

Your food web must have:

 4 (four!!) different trophic levels

 Producers, Consumers, and Decomposers

 All members of your food web must have a picture and a label of their function in the

food web (Producer, Consumer, or Decomposer)
