For credit, choose one of the following questions to respond to. You are welcome to respond to both but that’s optional.

1.Other than being a student, which Singer says (can’t remember which chapter; it may be in one of the ones not available for free) that being in school exempts one temporarily from giving, what counter-arguments can you think of to his argument that first world citizens have a moral obligation to give to the less fortunate?

2. Are you satisfied with the quality of the evidence that Singer provides to support his assertions? Describe/explain. Specifics are ideal (a specific chapter, a specific example, etc.) or an overall assessment with examples.
