Religious History Character

Choose an historical character to research for your Historical Character Profile project. This historical figure can come from any time period in American religious history. 

To help you select your historical figure, you may want to review the ‘Index’ at the end of your textbook, Religious history of America: The heart of the American story from Colonial Times to today, Gaustad & Schmidt.  You may need to do some preliminary research to choose a character that is of interest to you. 

Once you select your historical figure, begin to craft a brief rationale (no more than 1 page) describing the reasons you have selected this particular person in American religious history.
