Admission Essay

I would like you to revise my admission essay, which is attached, to make it more accurate and professional.

My name is F X, from Bahrain. Just got accepted to W Universtiy in the graphic design program. I have thought in this major since high school. This major did not exist in my area. For this reason, I came to The United State to reach my dream.

Since I have decided to study graphic design. I taught myself how to draw; how to do a video montage and attended Photoshop courses, I learned much stuff in this field. However, not everything can a person do by himself. Because of that, I need to improve my skill to upgrade to the next level to be a professional in designing to produce a creative thing. The second reason, I came to The United State to learn a new technique, to be familiar with modern equipment I will use it in the future. Further, dealing with different tools I need to train and learn the best way to deal with it. For example, there are many programs in graphic designing such as Photoshop, Flash, more. If anyone wants to be a good in all of them, He/she must have the amount of knowledge about each of them. This is what I look forward to it during my Academy study, to be the best in this business and I work in different fields in design.

When finished my university as a graphic designer will be the first step to success. First of all, I can express myself through that stuff while I design. In the future, I will design wedding invitation, graduation video and others. After, will be a perfect time for opening my own business I prefer to create things for people memorable moments since they can remember these occasions. In the beginning, I will design for small advertisement such as brochure, commercial, etc. . . . After that, I will expand to companies I design for them such as a logo, a website and painting. There are many things can do in designing. For example, make a story by using pictures to send any thought you want.

In conclusion, I learn from this argument “Champions aren’t made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, and a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill.” ―
