WORKING INSTRUCTIONS The task is to analyze a workplace from an ergonomic perspective. You can choose your extra jobs/summer job or a parent, relative or a friend’s place of work. 1. Describe the site’s technical and social environment by starting from the various points below. 2. Explain what actions have already been taken to improve the working environment and try to find suggestions for improvements remains to be done. Feel free to add your own findings and reflections on how you look at the situation from an ergonomic perspective. Technical environment: Postures, unilateral/static work, physically heavy, sound, noise, sight and light, working technology, electromagnetic radiation, air pollution, chemical health risks. Psycho-social environment: Interaction with people, working hours, work requirements in relation to capacity, security, stimulation, influence, responsibility, perceived threats, stress. |
