Make a hypothesis about the behavior and or mental process you chose. EXAMPLE: COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO EXPERIENCING STRESS TEND TO HAVE UNHEALTHY EATING PATTERNS WHILE COPING WITH STRESS.

Choose a method of research: Naturalistic setting, Case Study, Survey or Correlational study. EXAMPLE: METHOD OF RESEARCH – SURVEY: CREATE A SURVEY OF PRIMARY QUESTIONS RELATED TO COLLEGE STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCES IN BEING STRESSED, SECONDARY QUESTIONS REGARDING HOW THEY COPE WITH STRESS ? OTHER QUESTIONS – HOW DOES THEIR EATING PATTERNS CHANGE WHEN THEY ARE UNDER STRESS? (NOTE: Ensure that your method of study to collect the data can be completed within the time-frame of the course).

This paper should include each of the following information: Clearly state specifically what your chosen behavior and or mental process is that you researched, the hypothesis, the method you chose to carry out the research and to collect data, clearly state what the data you collected shows (you’ll need to include if the data supports your hypothesis or conflicted with it or was inconclusive, finally, indicate in your conclusion what was the most interesting information you learned while doing this project.
