1. Pick an American corporation that does business in the United States. (It is okay if the corporation chosen also does business outside the United State, as well.)

a. Identify the types of intellectual property (“IP”) used by that corporation and explain how each type of IP you identified can be protected by the organization under US/state law.

b. Identify the risks the company faces by owning such intellectual property. Explain how those risks can be mitigated and managed.
