1. What is lifespan development? What are some of the key elements of lifespan development and why is it important to study lifespan development? Discuss how your own development is consistent with such a perspective? (SLO 1 & SLO2)

2. As a developmental psychologist, you want to know if exposure to violence impacts personality and/or behavior in children. Design an experiment that will help you explore this topic. Identify your specific hypothesis, what method you would use, and the independent and dependent variables. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the design that you selected to test your hypothesis?
