Demonstrate your ability to apply the course concepts to a real-life situation by analyzing how they contributed to an e-commerce company’s problems. Reference your discussion back to the five phases of the Sales Process (information sharing, ordering, payment, fulfillment and service and support) and demonstrate how some aspects of the phases were overlooked. By Wednesday, September 25, 2013, choose an e-commerce company (either webvan, egghead, athomenetwork or another e-commerce failure that you can find research on) that experienced significant business problems (including failure) as a result of a poor e-commerce business plan and conduct research on the company, addressing  the comments below in its own paragraph:

· Discuss the original business opportunity envisioned by the company. What significant business issues were overlooked and thus contributed to the company’s problems? What problems didn’t they anticipate?

· What steps should the company have taken to avoid the oversights? Looking back, what should they have done differently from your perspective?

in 500-750 words (12 pt. font) prepared in a Microsoft Word document. The paper should be single spaced and sources should be used to support your conclusions. Remember MLA format has citations in the work as well as a works cited page at the end of the paper. This is always the last page.

Make sure that you can find enough research material for the company you choose so that you can back up your thoughts with facts that you find.
