I need you to do an essay answering the following questions: 1. Is it ethical for businesses to use video cameras to record customers’ activities? If so, for what purposes? 2. Does the government have the responsibility to use every means possible to protect the country and its citizens, or do citizens have the right not to be watched in public? 3. One objection stated is, "It’s not the same as a cop on the corner. This is a cop on every corner." What if it were a live police officer at each public video camera location instead of a camera? What that be more acceptable from a privacy standpoint? 4. If people do not plan to commit criminal acts in public, should they be concerned that law enforcement personnel may see them? 5. Does the risk of being recorded deter some illegal or unethical acts?
