1) a cover sheet with your name, names of your group members, date of presentation
2) how your group developed – structure and roles
3) how and when your leader emerged and what style was used
4) was the leadership style effective – why, why not?
– we don’t really have a leader, but please refer to what style of group communication
is it.
5) which decision making method did you generally use?
B)
You will have a range of 0-50 points to assign to each group member, excluding yourself. You are not required to give the full amount of points to every person, In general, everyone is very responsible. Etc, please help me to type of a introduction Member C(Score45): the most hardworking person of the group. Always on time for the meeting and Prepared. He is trying to be a leader and he is kind of a leader of the group. He bought us a book related to Pit Bulls that he used for another class. And that was pretty useful.
– everyone talks about their opinion, then discuss<< please search for what method is this.
There are 4 people in the group including myself, for now, please refer my different group Member of “MemberA”
“MemberB”
“MemberC”,
I will change the name myself afterwards.
- first, professor Pledger form our group for drawing out our names, then we get to talk to our group members to exchange contact information, and talk about our available time of the week for meeting, but too bad that we didn’t have a lot of common time because some of us has school or some of them has to work. Therefore, we always meet up at the end of class for around 10 mins, and we meet up around 30-45mins before our Group Communication class.
At the beginning, we discussed if we need a leader or not. But we didn’t decide a specific leader because we feel like everyone can participate in it, But I feel like “Member C” has more of a leader role because he is the one who drop down our notes for each meeting. And “Member B” has a lot of information on our topics because she works at the animal shelter (our topic is about PitBulls).
In our group, everyone can talk about their opinion and then the other member would discuss and agree or disagree on. It’s really peaceful. We choose our topic peacefully, Member B works at the shelter, Member C has a pitbulls at home. Member A and me are interested in dogs. Therefore, we come up with the Pit Bulls Topic.
Generally, We talk to the group before class and after class, and text or email each other on the other time.
We then separated the project into 4 different categories, because we have 4 people so that we think that we can distribute it more equally. We separate it into history, research, demographics and statistics, and what we have done in the country.
Each of us then can choose which part we want to do. I chose the history, Member A choose demographsics and stats, Member B chose reseach, member C chose what we have done,
then we went home and search for information for our part and discuss along after class.
For our first presentation ( a presentation that only present on why we chose this topic, and why is it importance for us to present), we decided that everyone talks in the group so that we can distribute the work equally. We have been gathered to practices for 2 days. Afterwards, we kept research on our topics and decided to talk more in depth on the next group meeting day. And then we are going to find at least 2-3 more days/ times to meet outside of class to practice on our final presentation.
In this project, even though we don’t have a leader, everything went well and peacefully.

Peer Evaluation Paper (Also must include a cover sheet as directed above.)
but you are required to give a full explanation of the person’s behavior and contributions (or lack thereof) that led to awarding or withholding the points.
(2 pages excluding the evaluation page)
Member A (score43): sometime late for a bit in the meetings but not significantly late, just 5-10 mins, pretty hardworking, not so prepared on our last meeting before the presentation
Member B(Score 43): give out some information based on her experience on the shelters, and sometime late to the meeting, again not significantly late, just 5-10mins, pretty hardworking. , not so prepared on our last meeting before the presentation
Conclusion: It’s hard to give everyone a different score because I think everyone has contribute to the project equally. And everyone has done their best. Etcccc…please add more details. To the introduction, to each person and conclusion. Just be aware don’t be to exaggerated on the evaluation part.
