Below are two discussion questions that require reading chapter 7 of my Psychology textbook to answer. I have provided this chapter in another attachment in PDF form. Please answer each question in at least 250 words on separate pages. In addition, use the text as an in text citation and reference as needed. APA/Scholarly writing standards apply.

First Page Question

1) There are many theories on language development. Some of them are the nativist explanation, interactionist explanations, and behaviorist explanations. Using the information from the text, explain each theory, how it works when acquiring language, and how you view each of these perspectives. Explain how any one of these theories help people to think and organize their thoughts.

Second Page Question

2) The linguistic relativity hypothesis maintains that language shapes the nature of thought. Review “Language and Thought:  How Are They Related?”  From your own point of view, how do you see language and thought being related to each other? How do you use language and thought to think and organize concepts?  Use examples in the discussion.
