iii) After students have completed the literacy interest inventory, analyze the inventories for patterns, discoveries, and evidence of prior knowledge. For example, did the boys give information different from the girls? Does any particular culture emerge as prominent in the student’s interest level? Is there a common interest among those surveyed?
iv) Write a lesson plan that incorporates the diversity issues and literacy preferences that you found in your interest inventory. The lesson plan should be within your content area and follow the direct instruction model.
APA format is not required, but solid writing skill in APA style and a title page are expected.
