This week, you will research one national retailer and one regional retailer window display and identify the differences and similarities between them. Remember to have your camera ready or your phone handy because you will need to include pictures.

Deliverable

1. Comment on the length, height, and width of the displays. Do you think the physical dimensions of a display have a role in attracting high foot traffic to a store? Why or why not? Support your response with examples.

2. In your opinion, which of the two displays are created more appropriately considering the target market and which of these have a greater impact on sales of the stores? Justify your responses.

3. Identify at least two attention getters that have been used in the windows you have seen.

4. Does either store use brand signing as well as sale or promotional signing? Is the brand signing elaborate (expensive) or simple (inexpensive) for the window? Support your responses.
