4) Data gathering

The most difficult step in the research process to be completed is the first step “Problem discovery and definition” as it becomes the reason to conduct the research and obtain information that will be decision oriented. If the problem is not clearly defined then correct and relevant information will not be received and perfect decision will not be taken.

The most important step in research process is the data gathering. This is because it is vital for the organization to gather appropriate data so that appropriate results can be gathered from it. Updated data must need to be collected so that thorough research can be done.

How important is it to have accurate data?

Collecting accurate data is considered as the most important job during the research process. This is because if the data gathered is not updated or too short than there are likely chances that the results can be devastating and can increase further problems for the company.
