Provide examples where the Constitution can be used in the world of professional sports. Did the founders have sports in mind when drafting the Bill of Rights?

Topic: The Constitution of the United States was created to protect the people from the civil government. Therefore, its purpose is only to curtail the activities of the government, and not private entities. However, over the years, we have seen an overreach by the civil government into the lives of individuals, often under the perceived authority of the Constitution. Yet, professional sports have largely been unaffected by the civil authorities. How long will this last?
