Just need this done by someone who knows what they’re doing, this is for undergrad. I may have to defend/explain my project so explanations of what you did would help. Thanks

Project: Stat 4561/6561 Categorical Data Analysis

Project due: April 1, 2025

Horseshoe crab mating data (weight should be divided by1000, to turn g to kg)

Analyze the data with logistic regression model, treating the variable “if a female horseshoe crab has satellites” as response and write a brief project report.

The project report should include but not limited to the following points:

1. A short story of the data and the purpose of the study.

2. Description of the variables involved in the study.

3. Model setup including necessary assumptions.

4. Model selection and diagnostics. Note that if a categorical covariate has only one level significant, the remaining could be merged with the baseline level.

5. Final model and plot of the fit (predicted versus the observed, regroup in necessary)

6. Interpret the outcome including the model fit (goodness of fit test), effects of predictors.

7. Concluding remarks including the most important findings from the analysis.

8. References: including books, articles, or technical reports etc.

9. Appendices: R code.
