List at least five pieces of critical registration information and discuss why this information is needed from the patient. What are some potential ramifications to the practice if this information is not received?

Additionally, each new patient is provided with a Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP). Describe what this is and how it would be presented to the patient.

What other types of prep would the assistant perform to ensure a patient’s visit has all required information prior to being seen?
