Step 1: Find Two to Three Ads (60 points)

• Choose two to three advertisements (either video or print) that you find interesting.
• For video ads, post a link to the commercial.
• For print ads, upload a picture of the ad. You can take a screenshot  or screen capture and upload it to the forum. To add an image, click on  the image icon (the small square that has a mountain and sun inside  it).
• Write a one-sentence description of each ad’s purpose (e.g., to promote a product, service, or cause).

Step 2: Choose the Ad for Your summary (25 points)

• From the ads you’ve posted, select one to analyze in your visual analysis summary.
• Consider why you chose the advertisement or commercial (include it  in your response) and the three elements you will discuss in your summary.
