Technology Research Paper

Purpose: To research and describe a new technology and hypothesis where it

may be used in the future.

Task Description: Find a technology, preferably an emerging technology, and

describe how it works. Detail its origin, use, functionality,

construction and where it may be used in future applications.

Format: Three (3) pages, double spaced. Your report should include with

pictures and/or charts to help describe your piece of technology,

however, the pictures should not make up more than half a page of

your document. (An additional page of images is acceptable).

Please cite your sources properly (including online sources).

Submission: Submit your paper electronically by uploading your completed

document in Blackboard. Blackboard is the ONLY valid way to

submit your report.

Paper submissions will not be accepted. Submissions sent through

email will not be accepted.

File format: Please submit your report in MS Word or PDF file types.

NOTE: If I can’t open it, I will mark it = zero.

Marks: 50 % Report content

15 % Pictures & graphics

10 % Grammar and spelling

10 % Originality

10 % Formatting/layout

5 % References/citations
