· The length requirement of 5-7 pages is just for the essay component of the assignment. That length does not include the title and references page.
· Sources: Your research paper must directly refer to at least five sources all sources must be properly cited using APA guidelines. (in the paper’s text, not just on the references page). At least two should be scholarly books or articles. One great way to find academic sources is to look for articles in refereed or peer-reviewed journals, and “Academic Search Premier” allows you to limit your search to scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals.
· Your final project must show significant and substantial revision from the draft, meaning multiple paragraphs must be significantly revised, other paragraphs must have been added or deleted, etc.
· Final draft must be in third person point of view
Here is my draft it needs a lot of work. Concept: better recycling programs to create jobs, and to help stop global warming
Tips from peers and instructor:
· I need to put some statics about how much trash is not recycled.
· Statics about young adults without jobs.
· A better “eye catching” intro
· Work with third person point of view
· 2 more references
· Longer paper
· more depth in your introduction.
· seems like your big idea is a recycling program; it seems you go into global warming a little more than actual recycling
Here is my draft it needs a lot of work next attachment:
THE BIG IDEA PROJECT 1
THE BIG IDEA PROJECT 2
Recycling
Introduction
By setting up a better recycling program for everyone around the world, many can help preserve this earth while also creating jobs. Should the government start to set up programs to help stop global warming or should it just but up to people to choose? There people without jobs and natural disasters nowadays. This is especially to the youths. Some academic graduates cannot be able to seek employment. Whenever a vacancy in an organization arises, they are left out because they are considered unqualified. This idea is to come up with a recycling organization to try to reduce this situation in my area. Challenges will be meet, like lack of equipment and enough assets. Through seeking aids from charitable organizations, this will solve a lot.
Literature review
In this presentation, I am going to present my blue print development. First before starting, I would like to clarify the meaning of the term. The method of processing used materials into new product is known as recycling. This is purposed to prevent wastage of used materials. There exist a number of environmental pollutions. This process reduces the traditional waste disposal. The process of recycling is the main component of especially in reducing modern waste (Brown, & Buranakarn, (2005).
The process uses the hierarchy known us the reuse’’. Recycling has got some standards related to it. Many kinds of materials can be recycled. To list them, I can start with papers, metals, textiles plastic and glass (Brown, & Buranakarn, (2005). Commonly, materials that are intended to be recycled must be collected. They are transferred into recycling centers. They are cleaned up, sorted, and finally reprocessed. They are turned into materials that are useful in manufacturing.
After recycling, most of these materials bring out almost the same product as the waste used. Advancement of new technology, some reuse materials can be used to manufacture different products from the original waste. Recycling has another form (Carl, 2005). This form is known as salvage. This is the action of getting a material from a complex product. The salvage process is critical for it is intrinsic. The intrinsic process can be harmful. This is because, the waste material to be recycled are either poisonous or dangerous in general.
Research shows that some critic scholars do not like the idea of recycling. They claim that recycling proponents makes matters worse. This is because the costs of energy utilized in transportation detract and collection is high. They claim that this energy outweighs the cost and energy saved in the processing process. This critic also compares jobs. They say that recycling job is of poor trade. Researches have shown that the material like the paper pulp degrades extremely fast. Despite these disputes, I know there are also advantages of the recycling industry (Brown, & Buranakarn, (2005).
Body
Secondly, from the above literature review, I hereby commence with the issues that my proposed firm will address. There is a lot of unemployment nowadays. My proposed firm intends to create any business that will haul the youth’s situation of poverty, also in the economic sector. This industry will take part in generation of a country’s revenue (Carl, 2005). This will be enhanced through local tax revenue levied by the government. Recycling process will also add value to the new manufactured products. This will increase labor. It will attract more business mined people. Truck drivers, material sorters, brokers, process engineers, and chemists. Creations intend these jobs. On top of that, these jobs will be a pay, which is above national.
In the establishment of the firm in the process of operation. It will expand and start solving the energy security issues. This is because, the amount of energy saved differ in materials. Statistically, all recycling industries realize energy savings as compared to the virgin ones. So by doing statistical projection, my firm shall be of more benefit to the nation too. From the production of plastic products. The energy used is calculated to be recovered from the recycling process (Gunter, 2008).
Evident existing currently indicates that man activities have contributed to an increase in global warming. This is due to an increase in the greenhouse emissions. These gases alter the composition of the entire atmosphere. In the year 2005, The process of recycling was proposed to curb global warming. This is done through combination of savings. Sequestration of carbon dioxide. Recycling processes also emits less methane gas compared production companies (Carl, 2005).
On the other hand, this is the reasons why I think my big idea should be implemented. I tried to project further in to the matter and found more beneficial ideas than expected. When materials are recycled, they are collected from their disposal are. Let me say if my firm grows to be an industry in future. It will collect materials to a great section of the town (Gunter, 2008). With time, it will end up collecting waste materials from all section of the entire country. By doing this, disposal areas will be cleared. This will reduce landfills. More land that is unused will emerge for planting natural resources for the generations coming.
On other reason why I think this project should be implementation is the issue of deforestation. If my firm expands and starts recycling different products, the environment will also be saved. In further explanation, it is well known that paper comes from trees. By recycling tree wastes, fewer trees will be cut down. This will maintain our forests. Retaining good forested areas means attraction of rain. This will result in rains. A lot of vegetation also absorbs carbon dioxide. This plants photosynthesis process helps in curbing global warming.
Conclusion
In every human existence, there is a challenge faced, some more than most. A proper mechanism needs to organization, in order for this earth to survive .To avoid repetition of the situations and completely manage the problem. For sustainability, money is required in almost every sector of life. It is then upon us human to learn how to strive. For an example, staging up this project will help some youths suffice. In surmise, innovation is the mother of satisfaction.
