o Commences with a series of topics for discussion instead of specific
questions.

o Poorly worded questions which cause confusions or misunderstanding
among interviewees.
o Memory problems among interviewees can make instant responses
unreliable.
o Questions might be asked in an inconsistent manner.
o Problems may arise in the recording and processing of responses.
o Non-response bias can arise.
