**Your paper should have 2-3 (full) pages of content, not including the required cover sheet, a reference page (for citations regarding the organization and course concepts), and an appendix page (for tables and figures, if necessary).

“ROPES TO SKIP AND KNOW” PRESENTATIONS (Team)

In this assignment, you will first develop a group contract that outlines the work expectations of each member and specifies the norms for your group. The contract should also outline in detail the consequences for non-compliance with the contract terms. The contract should be developed with every group member in attendance, so each person has a chance to offer ideas for the terms of the contract and has an opportunity to ask questions about a particular term. When all group members agree to the terms, each member will sign the contract. Make a copy of the contract for each member after signatures are obtained and turn in the original contract to me by the date listed in the syllabus.

You will then select a case that contains various aspects of OB that are quite common in organizational life. You will identify and integrate thoroughly at least two (2) OB concepts/theories that apply to the organizational issue and the characters in your chapter. You will then work together and prepare a formal presentation that you will deliver the last few weeks of the quarter. You will be given no more than 15 minutes to present, thus allowing for a Q&A period.

In your presentation, provide a critical assessment of the issues portrayed in the case by applying org behavior theories and concepts, and presenting recommendations for the characters. Substantiate your recommendations by incorporating and discussing organizational behavior theories and principles, stating why those principles are relevant. Be sure to cite the author or reference where applicable. In addition to the textbook, you should also review articles in scholarly journals to find studies to support each recommendation.

The presentation should consist of a PowerPoint presentation with each member participating equally. Use of videos is encouraged. The slide presentation should consist of 12-15 slides which should a brief introduction and followed by the comments above. Audience engagement is again desired.

As an exhibition of collegiality, you are expected to attend class even on the days you are not presenting.

The Team Captain will provide me with the case selected on the indicated date. There will be only 2 presentations per case to alleviate case duplication. The first team(s) to submit their case will be “grandfathered” for the presentation.

Grading: The grading criteria for this assignment will be based on:

· Depth, thoroughness of research and analysis (35%)

· Integrated understanding of relevant OB concepts & their application to the case (40%)

· Professional and creative presentation that increased audience engagement (20%)

· Use of multiple, scholarly references, with references cited in the presentation (05%)
