There are many ways to provide survey; an online survey is one of the provider’s places where people could share their different idea and opinions. Today people communicate widely with social media, such as Facebook, tutor, messenger, what’s up, etc. Interment has the best- provided impersonality and the ease of use which help people or customers to speak freely. The other advantage of online survey is not that much expensive and complicated, maybe it would cost only time of the participates.
Online questionnaire always appears on web pages for people other than the old way. The people regularly use the web, and who have access to the Internet prefer used to coming across questionnaires when they browse the web. The questionnaires which are coming browse the web usually involve registration at the limited website and filling in responses to questions. There are different subject and area that covered, it is not particular topic from customer survey questionnaires, what kind of topic doesn’t matter to brand awareness Campaigns.
In the next paragraphs, we are going to see the description of an easy and challenging t aspect of creating and conducting an online questionnaire, assess the reliability of the collected data and include the survey report, and determine the validity of the collected data and include the survey report.
The easy aspects: The data are captured directly in electronic format and making analysis cheaper and faster. Once organized or planned they are not too much expensive to carry out, making it easier to recruit huge numbers of participants or to collect data repeatedly, on several occasions. The anther easy aspects of creating and conducting an online questionnaire are more covering or including, allowing a further reach than phone surveys or postal or direct interviews, potentially including a global audience.
The difficult aspects: collecting and distributing the e-mail addresses is one of the challenging dimensions of the survey. Some customers may do not have the time to respond on time, and the others fill up the survey may don’t understand well what is required of them in a survey, also sometimes customers may respond poorly to some part of the survey. We have to be careful when we do the survey because simple errors that may reduce data validity so that customer should keep scrolling down to see a whole page of question or list of options in a list box and understand how to correct a mistaken response otherwise he may misunderstanding the idea of serve. “The way survey questions were written can be complicated regarding the type, wording, and order of questions. High values for these metrics are often seen as signs of satisfaction. It cannot tell us which the visitors are, why they act as they do and what they think or feel when browsing the site.
Assess the validity of the collected data and include the survey report: It is human nature to judge people and situations. Most of the judgments that are unconscious may result in false beliefs or misunderstandings. The online surveys may bring new problems as well, especially regarding validity. Therefore the most important threats to the validity of both online and offline surveys will be assessed in this paper. First, some limits of the paper are explicated. Then the notion of validity that is used there will be clarified. And after that, a range of difference between online and offline surveys are set out across two crucial moments in conducting them: solicitation (inviting participants) and delivery.
